Noordin M Top Died, Live on TV

noordin-m-top-diedSince last night the Indonesian TV viewers shown a tense drama when officers besiege and invade the terorist’s house at Beji village, Kedu sub-distric, Temanggung regency.

Most wanted terrorist, Noordin M Top finally died in the hands of 88 Antiteror Detachment (Densus 88) Indonesian Police. He died after officers blockades the house of Noordin M Top for 18 ours.

Then The death of Noordin M Top being the top news today. Metro TV and TV One are two Indonesia TV Media was most watched because they are Live on that case.

As we know, Noordin M Top’s gang has succesfull blasted JW Marriot and Ritz Carlton Hotel last month, there is some people died at that case. Today when Noordin died many people feel happy and give good imppression to Police that finished their job succesfully.

Last, let’s pray so that the terrorists lost forever from indonesia and the world.

Last Poem of WS “Bird Peacock” Rendra

ws-rendraIn this week we, people in Indonesia are very sad because we have been loss two guru forever, Mbah Surip and WS. Rendra. They are both friends and famous artists at Indonesia.

Willibrordus Surendra Broto Rendra called WS Rendra was born at November 7, 1935 at Solo, Jawa Tengah.  He started his carreer as art and social artist since he was student at UGM (Universitas Gajah Mada) and since that, his works has been published at many magazines and newsletters.

At 1967 he launched a theatre workshop at Yogyakarta called Bengkel Teater, a place of many artists and man of letters meets together.

Last night WS Rendra died after he was sick for several months. His tomb is at Rendra Family Cemetery at Depok. He in a cemetery near the grave of Mbah Surip.

WS Rendra is a humanist who is famous with the nickname “The Bird Peacock”. In his 74 years old, he has much works at social literature and art. Rendra’s poetry was made last time when he stays in Mitra Keluarga Hospital for treatment on 31 July 2009. WS rendra’s death, leaving the impression not only for his family, but also the Indonesian people.

Mbah Surip “Tak Gendong-Gendong” Died Today

mbah-suripMbah Surip, the singer of song “Tak Gendong-Gendong” died  today (tuesday, August 04, 2009). Doctor said the cause of his death is heart failure. On a TV program today before he died, Mbah surip says “no eating is no problem, drinking coffee is more important, i drink over 20 glass of coffee everyday”, said Mbah Surip on Silet Channel.

Mbah Surip is the most top artist in Indonesia since his song “Tak Gendong-Gendong” to be the most popular song for several months. And since that, he always get job concert and live on TV.

Mbah surip is a misterius man. His popularity comes after he is over 60 years old. Nobody knows him before and nobody exactly knows his life, Mbah Surip always hides his life personality.

From his hits “Tak Gendong-Gendong” Mbah Surip gets benefit about 9 billion Rupiahs. He plans to has a private hellicopter with that money. Tak Gendong is an unieqe song, many people like it because it is simple and funny.

socialsafe-facebookIn the month of April ago my facebook account was banned from Facebook. After email disabled@facebook.com twice, i was noticed that their decision was final and my account was permanently disabled.

I was very frustrate because i have uploaded many photos and videos at there and i can’t find how to get it back to me.  Before it was happen, i think facebook is a safe place to back up my photos. I always uploaded all my new photos to facebook and never made a back up. It was a tragedy because facebook didn’t want to restore my account.

Today i read a posting from mashable blog that there is a web with great application can download all files at our facebook profile to local computer. So i think it is a good idea to back up our profile now to prevent something unexpected in the future.

The web is socialsafe. With socialsafe you can download your photo albums,  photos you are tagged in, your friends and your profile. You can safe your facebook profile by download all your data to your computer. After download it, you can browse it at locally your computer.

Socialsafe is not a free application. To use their service you must pay $2.99. This is a cheap payment for great service.

Oke, i want to purchase it but i got problem in their form order. My country is not in their country list. They don’t accept purchasing from Indonesia. O my god. Indonesia still at risk country? No, they are using paypal as payment and Paypal accept member from Indonesia. So why Socialsafe doesn’t accept Indonesian????

No Confirmation Additional Credit Card

Last friday i got a packet from BII card centre, my card issuer. I was confuse what exacly this packet about because my credit card billing statement was setup to come to me by email every month. I opened it and then i was surprise because it was a addition credit card that never i order. So how it came to me?

Exactly this is the fourth cards i got from BII card centre. It is no problem if this card is free for annual subscription fee but it’s not free. For primary card i must pay IDR 150.000 and IDR 100.000 for additional card. If i have three additional card so i must pay IDR 450.000 yearly.

I think the sales man of BII card has forged my signature. Without my permission he applies a card for me. It is because for every succesfully card he will get some bonus from the issuer.

Next i will phone my credit card issuer to report this and cancel the last card i got. And maybe i will move to other card issuer because i don’t like this stupid condition.

Netvibes Helps Me Online

my-netvibesLast week i read a blog post about netvibes topic. I don’t know what is netvibes about but i interest for what the poster wrote. He wrote we can read all our favourite website in just one site. So i sign up and try to be familiar.

And wow, Netvibes not just make us can read all our favourite sites but we can check our email from this and connect at facebook also. So we don’t need open every single website to read them all, just open netvibes.com make some pages then refresh it. I have 3 pages, two private and one for public. I keep all my favourite online newspaper at public and put feed links of some discussion forum at private pages.

If you are a web master, you can use Netvibes to manage your activity. Make one pages about your site then add feed of your competitor at your tab and your link resources at other tab. For every posting update from your competitor or your site reference you will be the first one who know it, just refresh the tab.

The problem i got using Netvibes is coming from Forum discussion site. I can add feed from that forum but i can only  read the first post at every single topic, i can’t read all replies from the topic. The solution of this is click “show website” at the right column and you will be redirected to website form of the forum site. But you need some time interval to open it.

Aplikasi Paypal di Yahoo Mail

Barusan login di mail yahoo tiba-tiba ada pemberitahuan tentang new application, paypal.  Apa ini? cek.. cek.. cek ternyata menggunakan paypal bisa langsung dari account email yahoo kita.

Sepertinya folder aplikasi paypal ini hanya muncul di email yahoo dengan alamat paypal yang sama sebab di account yahoo saya yang lain gak ada tuh folder paypal.

Untuk mengaktifkan aplikasi ini, pertama kita klik icon paypal nya, setelah itu akan muncul popup berisi agree atau cancel, intinya apakah anda bersedia menggunakan layanan paypal di Yahoo. Setelah klik agree,  kita akan masuk ke halaman Paypal dengan tulisan Continue. Ada tulisan “PayPal is the faster, easier way to send and request money online. Use PayPal to send money to just about anyone, anywhere—right from your Yahoo Mail! Inbox. All you need is the person’s email address.” Klik continue untuk lanjut.

Hahh.. di halaman ini, sepertinya kita otomatis login ke paypal kita tetapi masih tetap di dalam account yahoo mail. Ada 3 tab yang muncul ; request money, send money dan tab more info. Saya coba tes send money ke paypal adekku, panca. Sudah isi to dan from email address klik tombol send money.. ternyata kita akan keluar ke halaman login Paypal dengan permintaan login seperti biasa.. ahhh amann.. kirain bisa login otomatis di dalam yahoo :)

Kesimpulannya, folder paypal di yahoo hanya untuk memudahkan kita bertraksaksi sesama pengguna paypal yang memiliki account mail di yahoo.

O iya, selain paypal ada juga aplikasi lain yang baru, ada My photos, Edit Photos, dan share it. nanti kita coba satu-satu.

Cara Membuat Sidebar di Wordpress

Sidebar adalah kumpulan menu yang terdapat disi kiri atau kanan halaman atau page di wordpress. Themes wordpress default hanya memiliki satu side bar yaitu di halaman index.php. Di halaman single post dan page tidak ada sidebar sehingga menyulitkan pengunjung untuk membrowse seluruh isi blog.

Berikut ini cara membuat sidebar dan mengubah themes default wordpress.

1. Pada bagian themes, klik edit, kemudian cari file single.php.

2. Di halaman single.php cari <div id=”content” class=”widecolumn”> kemudian delete dan ganti dengan <div id=”content” class=”narrowcolumn”>

3. Di bagian bawah halaman single.php, cari
<?php get_footer(); ?> kemudian tambahkan dengan <?php get_sidebar(); ?> pada bagian depan script tadi.

4. Klik update file untuk mensave file single.php.

5. Anda bisa juga mengedit file single.php menggunakan software FTP di alamat : wp-content/themes/default/single.php
